About DollarCalcs

DollarCalcs is an independent collection of free financial calculators built in New York. It exists because most calculator sites bury a simple tool under pop-ups, sign-up walls and copy written for search engines instead of people.

How the calculators are built

Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server or stored. Each calculator page explains the formula it uses, shows worked examples with real figures, and answers the questions people most often ask about that calculation.

The math is standard: amortization formulas used by every lender, IRS-published tax brackets and wage bases, and published state sales-tax rates. Tax parameters are reviewed and updated every January when the IRS releases new figures.

Who's behind it

DollarCalcs is built and maintained by Mo Basha, an operator who handles payroll, sales-tax compliance, and e-commerce reporting for small businesses — the same calculations these tools perform. When something is wrong, it gets fixed; tell us.

What this site is not

We are not financial advisers, accountants or lawyers, and the calculators are estimates based on the figures you enter. They are meant to help you understand your options, not replace professional advice for major decisions.

How the site is funded

DollarCalcs is free to use and supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are clearly labeled and kept away from the calculator inputs and results. See our privacy policy for how advertising cookies work.
